About this Event

BINUS University, as one of the world-class universities, aims at contributing to community development through science and knowledge applications that focuses on the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). In accordance with BINUS University’s vision, Fostering & Empowering Society, BINUS University has a strong desire to aid and support sustainable community empowerment. By engaging representatives from several partnering universities and international professionals who will share their local empowerment in the areas of education, economic development, gender equality, and global partnerships, BINUS Univeristy is well positioned to help address these challenges by reducing barriers to access to employment, ensuring that the skills acquired by young people are recognized and certified, and offering skills development opportunities for the communities supported, especially young people, to be exposed to real community development knowledge and practices in different countries. Through this event, we hope that the full engagement of young people in global processes is essential to bring about positive change and innovations. 

According to SDGs aspirational, here are some topics of discussion of this event:

1. Quality Education To ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.

2. Economy Development Technological advances are changing the nature of jobs, skills education and training can help youth find productive employment and decent work, thus contributing to poverty eradication and inclusive economic growth.

3. Reduce Inequality Guarantee opportunities and reduce disparities in outcomes, including by removing laws, policies and practices that discriminate against laws, policies, and practices, and promoting legislation, policies and actions appropriate related legislation and policies.

4. Global Partnership Global partnership as a driver to increase innovation capability and technology.
